Q. Do I have to pay for the site all at once?

A. No. Our terms are $350 with your order and the balance when the site is completed.

 

Q. Do you accept credit cards?

A. Yes. We accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover, or you can use PayPal.

 

Q. Where is my site hosted?

A. Att www.wix.com.

 

Q. How much does hosting cost?

A. The first year of hosting is included in your basic package. After the first year you can choose to continue to host through Multi-Media Creations or open your own account at www.wix.com and host it yourself. If you continue hosting through Multi-Media Creations the cost is $300 per year for the basic plan.

 

Q. Do I have to use the wix.com hosting?

A. Yes. One reason we can offer so many features at one low price is because we use the very powerful Wix interface. By hosting with Wix you retain all of the features we build into your site.

 

Q. Why would I continue to host through Multi-Media Creations instead of opening my own Wix account?

A. If Multi-Media Creations hosts your site we will make necessary changes to your site at no additional cost.

 

Q. Can I promote more than one book on this site?

A. Yes. That is one of the options we offer at the time of set-up.

 

Q. Can I add additional books to this site in the future?

A. You can. You can do it yourself or we will provide you another page for additional books. If the page is requested at some point after the initial set-up the cost is $99 per book.

 

Q. Do I own the site when you are done?

A. Absolutely.

 

Q. Do you provide the domain name?

A. Yes. The cost of the domain is included in your package for the first year.

 

Q. Can I use a domain name I already own?

A. Yes. But the domain must be transferred to or redirected. We will handle that if you prefer.

 

Q. How do I get my pictures and copy to you?

A. Once you have made your initial deposit and completed the set-up form we will set up a dropbox folder for you. You will simply put the assets in that drop box folder as you have them available.

 

Q. Do I get to approve the design?

A. Yes. You approve the basic design of the home page before we produce the rest of the site.

 

Q. How long does it take to get my site up and running?

A. Typically anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks after you deliver the assets.

 

Q. How can I make changes to the site?

A. As long as Multi-Media Creations is hosting the site we will make minor changes for free. If you want a major change, such as a re-design, we will provide you with a quote. If you elect to have your own hosting account you can make the changes yourself.

 

Q. Will the site work on all types of devices?

A. Yes. This is critical to a good web site as almost 55% of web searches are initiated on smart phones or tablets.

 

Q. Can I link to social networking?

A. Absolutely. Linking to social networking from the site and linking to the site from your social networking sites should be an important part of your book marketing plan.

 

Q. Can I have a blog?

A. Yes. Setting up a blog is one of the options you have at set-up.

 

Q. Can I sell books from this site.

A. Yes. With the eCommerce option you can sell books and accept payments on the site.
